Milgard offers three different series of Moving Glass walls, with a wide range of standard sizes to fit many homes:
Stacking
The Milgard Stacking door system has independent sliding panels where you can open one panel or slide the entire group to stack behind one fixed panel. With three and four panel doors that range from 9’ wide x 8’ tall to a full 20’ x 8’ opening, in aluminum or aluminum clad wood with a number of color options, you can create the look that sets your home apart!
To create the maximum opening possible, a pocket door operates similarly to a stacking door but the panels all recess into a hidden pocket in the wall! As with the Stacking door option, Milgard’s Pocket doors are available in four finishes for the Aluminum doors and four exterior and two interior wood finishes for the Aluminum Clad Wood series.
Bi-fold
With 3, 4, 5 and 6 panel doors that are hinged to fold back to the sides, a bifold creates a luxurious style and simple operation similar to a French Door, yet can fill a space up to 18’ wide x 8’ tall. When closed, each panel interlocks with its neighbor and the standard water barrier sill helps form a weather-proof barrier as well.
